this is how you can do a smokey eye..
Tutorial, nonverbal of purple smokey eye. I am not affiliated with a makeup background experience.

Makeup products:
Naked palette
Naked 3 palette
Bobbi brown ombre tone eye primer
Eye primer from ulta
Pond flawless white 2 way foundation powder
Nu Colour Medium 03 concealer



1) gather some makeup mini-sized eye brushes, while you're at it, have eye primer, eye shadow of two shades of one color plus black, concealer, and gel eyeliner(s) with you. You're going to need the sephora eye primer (the one that is a complement to the glitter (loose) eyeliner product If you want to (optional) have a white eyeliner.

2.) Place two dabs of primer on top of each eyelid. blend, but rubbing your clean fingers around the whole eyelid or with one of the mini sized eye brushes; do the same with the other eye.See footnote in the bottom

3) Once that is done put concealer around the perimeter of the eye, yes, even as if you were doing the regular full face makeup routine hiding those dark circles under the eyes-be sure to include the crease also.

with a second lightest color-Personally I sweep some of that color and dab it with the eye primer cream which gives it a really, really nice effect-but you don't have to do that. Putting it in your almost touching the eyebrows is recommend but don't overdo it, because you will be highlighting above your crease with highlighter/concealer.

5)With a dark color such as gray to black, (eyeshadow), blend it towards the crease

6) Place the color that your transitioning (Based on the picture below I did purple) with dabbing it with the eye primer cream

7) Repeat Step 6, except without the eye primer cream.

8) Adjust. Take the third lightest color (2nd darkest color) and take it and windsheild wipe it to the eye. If you haven't been blending since step 5, go all out right now and BLEND. Take a break from blending with the eye brush and blend with finger.

9)Blend, blend pls.

10) Take a black eyepencil or eyeliner and apply it to the water line. WARNING: do not absent-mindedness do this, for it will come off as really thick and it can make you look like a racoon haha leading you to wash that part of and start all over.


11 voila! you are finished!


this is an eye tutorial that I personally did as a visual to help (help hopefully!!)

Footnote: I put two concealers around the whole perimeter of the eye....from the bottom I engulfed "coverage" by 1" depth, it looks crazy in the beginning but its to achieve a greater purpose in the end! After the concealing step then my personal preference is to put on the eye primer afterwards
